TILLANDSIA PUNCTULATA
Tillandsia Punctulata is native to an area stretching from Mexico to Panama where it grows at altitudes of 0 to 2,250m. It is an epiphyte, growing in cool, shady, moist rainforests. T. Punctulata has a tussock like structure, forming long, bright green leaves which are brown at the base. The plant produces a long inflorescence spike with scarlet bracts and tubular flowers. The flowers are bicolour, being dark purple at the base and white at the top. We do not recommend keeping this plant indoors. This species will thrive outside under bright, but indirect sunlight.
