A gorgeous miniature Neoregelia hybrid. The glossy green leaves turn the colour of a good red wine in full sunlight. The mother plant sends its’ ‘pups’ (baby plants) out on long stolons, which are quite capable of growing without a root system of their own. It is particularly well suited for hanging baskets, rock walls, placing in trees or on ponga stumps. As a ground plant, it will eventually form a light ground cover, which looks very attractive, particularly on banks.
