Dichondra repens is a small herbaceous native plant with a creeping habit, forming a dense mat. It has kidney shaped leaves ranging from 0.5-2cm in diameter. Throughout summer (September – February) this plant produces tiny yellow-green flowers followed by a hairy fruit.  Plant in full sun to part shade, 25-30cm apart.
