Archontophoenix purpurea Mount Lewis Palm. 8 mtrs. A bold, striking, larger growing palm, the Mount Lewis is sure to be a feature attraction when planted. Its smooth pale grey trunk, and purple hued crown shaft support a canopy of strong, clean fronds with a silvery white underside. The Mount Lewis palm gives structure when used in landscaping. It is well suited to lining driveways or can be a feature when grown as a solitary palm. Grows well in the northern half of the North Island.
